Chief Physician, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Tenured Professor at Tsinghua University. She currently serves as Director of the Department of Women and Children and concurrently Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital. She is a recipient of the Special Government Allowance awarded by the State Council.

Gynecologic Oncology, Female Genital Tract Infections, and Female Sexual Medicine. She holds 4 National Invention Patents.

Educational Background & Academic Experience:

She graduated from the Medical Department of Beijing Medical University in 1982. From January 1994 to July 1996, she conducted postdoctoral research in clinical and basic obstetrics and gynecology at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Laboratory, University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB), USA, for over two years. From January to March 2003, she served as a Senior Visiting Scholar at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Freiburg, Germany, where she engaged in clinical exchanges with international colleagues and was highly praised for her clinical skills.

Clinical & Academic Achievements:

With solid theoretical foundations and extensive clinical experience accumulated through long-term practice, she is a recognized leader in clinical and basic research on gynecologic infections and female vaginal microecology in China.
She has supervised the graduation of more than 80 doctoral students, numerous master’s students, and 3 postdoctoral fellows, as well as guided many advanced students. She has presided over more than 20 national-level scientific research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Major Special Projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Key Projects of the Health Industry Fund of the Ministry of Health. In recent years, she has published over 50 SCI-indexed papers and more than 300 Chinese core journal papers.
