She has been engaged in clinical work related to reproductive endocrine diseases, infertility, and assisted reproductive technology for many years, with a particular focus on polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometrial lesions, and other conditions. She is proficient in routine infertility surgeries, as well as laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures.
She presided over the National Science and Technology Support Program during the 12th Five-Year Plan period to conduct an epidemiological survey on female fertility, led a National Key R&D Program project to carry out a cohort study on the offspring of women with reproductive endocrine diseases undergoing assisted reproductive technology, and served as the principal investigator of a National Key R&D Program to conduct basic and clinical research on endometrial receptivity.
In addition, she has led numerous national and provincial-level scientific research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). She has participated in publishing more than 300 papers, among which 55 are SCI-indexed as first author or corresponding (including co-corresponding) author.
She has been awarded the Second Class National Science and Technology Progress Award three times (in 2009, 2011, and 2017), the Beijing Mao Yisheng Science and Technology Award and the Second Class Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education (as first completer) in 2018, and the First Class Science and Technology Progress Award in Maternal and Child Health (as first completer) in 2021.
